Lab
Scale
In
the lab we perform some basic feasibility tests and assess suitability
for roll-to-roll manufacturing. We have proprietary coating &
drying modeling capability to prepare for pilot trials. Pilot
Trials
From the laboratory scale tests and modeling, we create an initial
process template for the expected best case conditions, along with
designed experiments to scope operating windows for critical parameters.
Trial execution is scripted by computer controlled process recipes.
Real time data acquisition insures data capture for subsequent analysis
and continuous improvements. Finally the pilot trial is performed
on the production coater with narrow width web to minimize developments
costs and speed scale-up.
Full
Scale Production
Prior to full scale production, process parameters and equipment
are tuned based on the trial data. This results in a seamless transition
from trial stage to production stage. Having done the pilot trials
on the production equipment, makes it easy to move into production. |

production the process is further refined to push the operating parameters
to optimize product performance and business results. Our technical
